Dapsone precautions

Tell your doctor your complete medical history especially if you have high blood pressure, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes or emotional problems. Dapsone Drug interactions

Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Dapsone dosage and missed doses of dapsone

If you miss a dose of dapsone, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Take the missed dapsone dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dapsone dose, skip the missed Casodex dose and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
