Diflucan precautions

Tell your doctor your complete medical history especially if you have high blood pressure, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes or emotional problems. Consult with your doctor if you think you are pregnant or before breast-feeding. diflucan can be habit forming and must be used with caution. Alcohol can increase unwanted side effects of dizziness. Diflucan Drug interactions

Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, (prescription and nonprescription) especially if you take high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other anitfungal medicine. Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Diflucan dosage and missed doses of diflucan

If you miss a dose of diflucan, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Take the missed diflucan dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next diflucan dose, skip the missed Casodex dose and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not take a double diflucan dose to make up for a missed one.
