Loestrin precautions

Tell your doctor your complete medical history especially if you have high blood pressure, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes or emotional problems. Loestrin Drug interactions

Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, (prescription and nonprescription) especially if you take high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other birth control medicine. Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Loestrin dosage and missed doses of loestrin

If you miss a dose of loestrin, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Take the missed loestrin dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next loestrin dose, skip the missed Casodex dose and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not take a double cliane dose to make up for a missed one.
