Verapamil precautions

Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Verapamil dosage and missed doses of verapamil

If you miss a dose of verapamil, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Take the missed verapamil dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next verapamil dose, skip the missed Casodex dose and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not take a double cronovera dose to make up for a missed one.
