Vioxx precautions

Vioxx Drug interactions

Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, (prescription and nonprescription) especially if you take high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other osteoarthritis medicine. Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.

Vioxx dosage and missed doses of vioxx

If you miss a dose of vioxx, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Take the missed vioxx dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next vioxx dose, skip the missed Casodex dose and continue your regular Casodex dosing schedule. Do not take a double vioxx dose to make up for a missed one.
